- Flexible Hours
Our students enjoy flexible working hours that allow them to earn an income while continuing to focus on school which is their primary responsibility.
- Community Hours
Through our many charitable events and partnership, students have many opportunities to earn their community hours required for school.
- Coop Placements
Throughout the year we participate in coop placement opportunities with various community college programs. Our students have the opportunity to complete their coop programs in a variety of fields of study, including Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, IT and Store Operations.
- Student Committees
We consider our student the leaders of the future and therefore we encourage them to develop their leadership skills through working on student committees and other projects throughout the year.
- Scholarship support
As a member of the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers, Longo’s participates in their scholarship program as a Store Sponsor and offers guidance to the student in his/her application.
